I don't mind either, if they're done right. Plastidip is like paint, or vinyl for that matter, if you have no experience doing it, then do a small area and get practice in, otherwise it will look like crap - guaranteed. The best part about plastidip vs vinyl is that vinyl can be found in ridiculously stupid colors like gloss gold and chrome.
