Im planning on this retrofit soon, just need to decide if its worth the extra expense of getting a NBT Evo head unit thats pre-coded to my VIN, since its got afew extras that may need to work. Im being quoted £1090 for the a unit that will also have Carplay screen Mirroring activated and also have the voltage converter wire to conneect to the existing screen (F10 LCI with ID4).
Do you think used NBT Evo head units work with out coding? seen them go for under £400 in UK
Will be great to see some knowledge shared, Im just wondering how much coding there is and if it can all be done using eSYS and ENET cable??
And what is involved when they say coding to VIN, FSC codes??
