So i've had a few repair experiences over the past 3 weeks that are starting to concern me. First, multiple lights came on - Emergency brake, Drivetrain impaired and Restraint system. Took it to a BMW dealership and they diagnosed it to be some wires that were broken. (Not sure how, Maybe related to some pothole from months before that cracked each runflat.) Anyway, they fixed that and it ran okay for 2 weeks. Finally, last wednesday the drivetrain impaired light came on again and the car started idlying rough. I took it to the same dealership. 4 days later they mention that the tech recommends update programming. Not sure which system. Has anyone had any update programming performed on their F10? Interested in the details as to what subsystem needs to be updated.
