The F10 hub (on my 550xi at least) is 10mm. A 5mm spacer leaves 5mm of hub exposed but OEM BMW wheels have a 5mm chamfer on the inside so these will not mount hub centric. A hub extender like this: http://www.vacmotorsports.com/catalo...mm-spacers.htm allows using 5-8mm flat spacers as hub centric.

I can buy a 10mm spacer that has the hub centric ring built in but 10mm is more spacer than I need.
