So the VAC hub extender E8X/E9X won't work since you measure it at 67mm.

I would be surprised if the hub is different between x-drive models. You may want to use something more precise than a caliper to measure (it's not very accurate on inside dimensions like that).
I still have my extenders and no F10 if you want to give them a try, shoot me a PM if interested.
