Downside is that it's expensive. Mobil cost me $40-$50 at Walmart. Liqu moly easily $80-$90 and locally is very tough to find.
I would use the ceramic oil for your new remanufactured engine after you break it in properly. Do frequent oil changes 2500-3000 (maybe overkill but we know bmw) and you should be good.
