Remove the positive AND negative battery cables. Touch them together for about 10 seconds. DO NOT have either one connected to the battery. This will discharge the capacitors in all the modules used for memory retention and in theory clear all codes. I've never done this with an '07 750 but have on other vehicles and it's always worked. As long as there's not a hidden secondary battery somewhere else I would think you would be fine.
