The CBS may require an oil change up to every 19,000. I would half that. A main dealer may use the cheapest LL04 oil it can, I would use Castrol Edge LL04.
It's quite possible that the first owner may have done horrible things to your car, which will never be known.

Funny u should mention that.....my brother sent me a video regarding Bmw llo4 spec oil compared with castrol when heated to 400 degrees....
