The indy says it is going to cost £1200.00 and BMW says about £2000.00 and would not be able to ask for BMW goodwill contribution until they have stripped the engine and officially diagnose the fault
So which way should I go for repair? Indy or BMW dealer?

My view,
cancel the G30, and wait for values on the F10/11 to fall to a more realistic level. Most new cars are not value for money and certainly not a new BMW 5 series.
