I use a different shift knob every summer. ZHP best all around.
then found a 4-5in tall very weighted on ebay like the thread link below, was nice for cruise'n.
I have this summer a oem performance shift'r, part Number 25-11-0-429-269
it's perfectly notched for the 128i and encourages 5000rpm revs
