I've got 20x11 ET46 with 295/30/20 in the rear without rubbing.
Not sure what the best offset for 20x9.5 is in the front, it also depends on tiresize, 245 vs 255. I've got 20x9 ET26 with 255/35 tires, any lower than ET22-23 and you might start to rub over bumps, especially if you turn the wheel slightly.
