Gents - fully agree with you. I can also add that a ceramic coating seems to help slow down the inevitable faint or spiderweb-like scratches. I applied mine (Wolfgang Uber Ceramic) last summer, and after one year's normal wear and tear, the paint still seems nearly perfect.
