Basically catch cans with the bronze filter are about 3 times more effective then a CC without it in my experience, catching in one month what would take a non-filtered CC about 3 months to do. They are more maintenance though as you must clean or replace the bronze filter every 8-10K miles or it will clog up. Worth it IMHO.

I'm having the same issues. I purchased the 2 port version of the one you referenced Sophisticated Redneck, and the 3/4 hose to 3/8 NPT adapters too, they don't fit the catch can, they are slightly too large. So I compared closely their adapters that are sent with the can to the ones purchased, and there is a slight difference between the two.
