Are you kidding? 100k miles is not uncommon on a set of pads these days. We're at 80k on my wife's SUV. My old ridiculously hard-driven Evo had tons of pad left when I sold it at 35k miles. What the hell are people doing to wear out pads and rotors at 30k miles? BMW brakes can't possibly be that horrid, can they?
