That list to which reference is made is old news over here. It was published in full and debated at Bimmerpost almost six months ago:

Except if BMW fooled us all, the "M2 Competition" mention in that referenced list = M2 CS.
The only thing I noticed worth mentioning though: recently an M2 test mule was lapping the Nürburgring again with an N55 sounding engine while most other M2 test mules had a distinctive S55 sounding engine (see here:
http://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...3#post16905583). It puzzled me why. Maybe it's for comparison purposes ?
