Yes, it is such a good car to drive when all is well, I continue to run it, "warts and all".

I'm a long time BMW owner/user, lived through the downside of ownership in different models. I don't buy into BMW expecting Japanese reliability. BMW could do better for quality and longevity, particularly for some of its common components. Air springs is one common example of poor quality.
