Things always break, that's the name of the game. Anything else could just as easily fail. The 2.5 however does come with digital readouts warnings of clogged or unplugged lines or low levels. I'm comfortable with that, plus there are built in DME safeties for low pressure in the fuel rail, auto retardation of timing with detonation, knock sensors, etc etc.
In my mind it just comes with the territory and it's not any less safe than PI with modules and extra pumps, lines, injectors etc that are also points of failure. I guess my point is if you wanted it to be reliable you shoulda kept it stock :-D
