Hei all
Just in case you have the older maps (mine were the PREMIUM 2011 maps - on PROF Nav) you can update them to the 2013 Premium maps for a fraction of the cost that BMW will charge.

I got the FSC code (needed to upgrade) and MAP download link from Sergej (*****************) .

Unpacked the maps and put them on a USB memory stick (8Gb but I think it should fit on an empty 4Gb stick), stuck it into the USB slot in the glove box, waited 10 sec for the update message, entered the FSC code and took about 5 minutes for the process to finish. Restarted by itself. All good.

You need to supply him your VIN number (I think the last 7 chars). Cost me 50Euro but you might be able to haggle and he accepts PAYPAL. If you do a search on many BMW forums you will see his name and email come up so the risk is low.
