The 30mm difference is the same as the stock staggered set; 245 up front and 275 in the rear.
To keep the tyre width he would have to have a 255/40 up front instead of 255/35. Having wider tyre out back would need a lower aspect ratio than the one up front. Yes, it will mess with the ABS & traction control; I forgot to mention that. Can also induce squirrely handling.
