Hi All, I have a 2011 5 GT Xdrive 3.0d, with FDSH and 140,000km. Over the past 2 months, I have noticed a whine from (I presume) the autobox, and it only happens on lift off, decelerating from 90kmh to 70kmh.

Any clues to what it could be? AFAIK the autobox oil hasn't been changed, but it is going into BMW on Monday for front pad change, and they will test drive it with me to diagnose the issue.
