You will not need to upgrade your master cylinder with the 760/550 brake upgrade. DARKKNIGHT put 4-piston X5M calipers on his F10 and did not upgrade the master cylinder. My understanding is that if you go for the full M5 brake retrofit, which is not a simple bolt on mod, then you'll have to upgrade the master cylinder.
