I imagine that the DTUK and Tdi Tuning boxes are very similar. Yes if you reset the gearbox it will 'adapt' to how you drive. If after you reset it and you drive quite quickly, you will notice that the car will feel and respond slightly quicker. Its nothing to loose out on.
