It's a wonderful idea to get the dealer to fix it, but I live in the Netherlands and having the local monkeys try and fix it is not a good idea. They have less knowledge than a thick Neanderthal, and their solution would likely be to replace wheels to see if it works. It is naturally out of warranty.

I'd rather replace the car (bear in mind my car is 80k new here, gotta love the luxury tax..) than spend 5 grand replacing bits trying to fix it. It's simply not worth it for a bit of vibration. I too have had multiple 5 series and this one is the first to suffer it, in fact the first of many BMW's to suffer it. It's one of those things. But if anyone comes up with a miracle check that seems to fix most of them I'd be over the moon to hear of it!

Easiest fix though? Feck it and buy a G30... :-)
