Some info guys..
I had a 2012 120d n47 registered sep 2012 and my timing chains were replaced at 32000 !!!
My car was fitted with the latest and final guides which were not released till 2013.
I now have a 520d n47 reg Oct 2012 40000 and I have just had the turbo replaced...no excessive noise from the timming chains...yet.
But time will tell.
