I quite like sprint qualifying!!! I normally watch free practice 2 on Friday but it's kinda boring. Sprint qualifying produces 3 days of excitement instead of just 2. Don't think I'd go through the trouble of heading to the track for a 100km race but it's good for TV. Ratings and money will tell if it sticks around or not.
I've also never liked the top 10 drivers having to start the race with the exact tires they qualified with in Q2. Exact specification maybe? Used tires no!
I understand cost cutting but be real. Tires aren't that expensive in the grand scheme of things. Drivers should never have to worry about saving tires or running out.
Give the teams 10 sets to pick from and let the best man win.
