Weight savings + distribution. Ride feel, responsiveness, etc.
It's been said many times but I think the "weight wars" are next for bragging rights.
I've driven the P100D a few times and yea that roller-coaster acceleration is fun but the party trick gets old once you're on the road and taking turns.
