CIC Map 2018-1 update review
I've Just updated my map and i am impress about some of the improvements that I've noticed.
Installation is straight forward. You have to save the files on 4 memory cards, and it takes about 30 minutes to update.
1- The routing logic seems much better with this update at least in my area. With the previous maps, navigation always taking the odd routes to get me home. Now I am getting the most logical rout. This has been applied to many destinations that i've tested so far.
2- Of course more POI added at least for my area
3-The map seems is running smoother and destination calculation seems slightly faster (maybe that is my imagination, but it seems like map zooming in/out much smoother now)
4- The new map shows Walmart and most companies parking lots as well. It shows all parking lines, with roads going through them. I know the $50 navigation system shows all these details for few years now, but I think it is a step up for BMW map.
