Yeah I pulled the fuses for the fuel pumps and let it crank for 3-4 times, shut off crank again 3-4 times. Did that 3x just for peace of mind. Just make sure the area is clean before removing the oil filter housing and any debris should not get down the ports. If changing oil just add oil into the filter after you reinstall everything can also wet down the oil filter with fresh oil also.
