I have a 2014 535i xDrive M Sport.
My rear passenger side spring took a dump and cracked. Noticed this when I heard a loud clunking.
I have already taken the old strut out and am about to order a pair of replacement springs to do both sides, but it seems like the springs are different for the 550/535/528i?
Considering the weight of the car is similar to the 528i, am I ok ordering springs for the 528i? Is there even a difference? These springs are listed as being compatible with both the RWD 528i and xDrive variant.
It seems like they all have different part numbers. I don't drive fast or track this car, its pretty much just a weekend car to slowly drive to the bar so I don't care about losing a bit of performance as long as the ride is still similar to the stock springs.
