I, too, believe BMW is making a *HUGE* mistake by substituting the GT for the F11 in the North American market. We americans ALREADY have enough fat asses to look at - why do we need a VEHICLE with ungainly proportions?!
This F11 is a STUNNER - even in green (not my favorite color) it looks incredible!
Yes, I'd pay $60,000 for an F11 (preferably a 530d with a stick, of course) - but I won't even consider the bloated GT. When the time comes, I guess I will have to settle for an Audi A6 Avant (not as dynamic as a BMW, but nice interior and you can still get one in America with a stick).
Too bad. I *LOVE* this car
- but until BMW gets their shit together and brings more diesel/manual transmission models (instead of spending $$$$ on hybrids and SUVs), I'm going to have to spend *MY* $$ elsewhere.
