DRL lights malfunction - faulty part?

On my F11 520d, 2011, I replaced the xenon bulb by entering from the wheel arch. But unfortunately I didn't seal the round cap properly and water entered the headlight case after a car wash. The turn signal and the DRL (both rings) stopped working.

I opened again and dried out with a hair drier and all visible water disappeared. Also the turn signal worked again. The DRL, however, was first flickering for a while but then went out completely. This occurred simultaneously on both rings.

What would you, think is the most likely faulty part? Is it the TMS module?

Thank you in advance!

TMS is most likely the culprit. I recommend removing it and pull everything out to dry and then reassemble and see. It could still have standing water at the contacts

Thanks for the reply! It was the TMS module, some corrosion due to the water.

Only right side. Tried the left TMS module to the right, and then all lights on the right worked. Saw corrosion on the faulty module, so I tried to clean it a bit but it didn't work. So now I've ordered a new module.

On the left side though, the accent light ("eyebrow") and the small orange position light do not work regardless of module. Since all lights on the right works with the left TMS module I suspect that there is another fault in to the left.

Any ideas of what that might be?

Thanks!

First time on board here. I have 550i with left headlight condensation and tons of failure alarms. The dealer quoted +$19,000 to replace headlight and the control modules. I feel like it is a ripoff that is insane.
I need some recommendations. how difficult is DIY? Where should I acquire parts? Are non-OEM parts worth the effort?
Help please
