Yea, too many to list.
Generally speaking, you should expect to spend about $1000 on a paint correction detail.

do it yourself! you'll enjoy it and appreciate the work you did! but if you can't do that than i know it can get pricey depending on what you want done.

go to : www.autogeek.com
Buy yourself a clay bar, some detail spray, a Porter Cable 7424XP, a set of 5.5" Lake Country or Uber pads (I primarily use Orange (med. cut), White (light cut) and Blue (sealant applicator) pads), some Menzerna 3-in-1 polish/cut (use with the orange or white pad) and find a sealant of your choice to finish the job. I used Blackfire Wet Diamond on a Blue pad which is ultra easy to apply/remove. If you do it right, it should take you about 20hours of labor to get it done. I've gone over mine three times and easily have over 40 hours in it, but I'm next level OCD.

also instead of a sealant look into ceramic coatings....
i recently applied the wolfgang uber ceramic coating. All of the steps that QuickSilv3r listed above, except the blackfire wet diamond (replace that with the ceramic coating) the coating is more expensive, but according to manufacturer recommendations its supposed to last 3 years (its a fairly new product so we'll see about that) however friends of mine who have other ceramic coatings for the past few years, their cars still feel smooth as glass even 2 yrs later, and all they have done after the coating is regular wash (most using a foam cannon and power washer). I applied mine back in October, and right now the car is really dirty, but i'm looking forward to cleaning it once the weather improves. Autogeek has forums where you can research the coatings etc... |

+1 to what quciksilv3r said.
I would rather spend (which I did many times over) $1000 on detail products than paying someone that kind of cash to do it. Over the years, I became a detail freak and do all of my own work. Order a good Porter Cable (if you don't trust yourself) or a regular buffer and volunteer to detail one of your friends POS cars as a test module. With your order get an orange pad, Manzerna 3 in one as mentioned of SF 1500 and SF4500, green pad and a choice of final finish. I still use Zaino Z-2 as I love the shine it leaves. Go at it and see what you can do. I remember being very impressed after my 1st try and my friend thought that we got her black Civic repainted after I was done. Since then I really enjoy paint correction. Phil at detailersdomain.com has a write up on pretty much anything that you can ask for. Check out his site. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Do you guys recommend a kit from here http://www.autogeek.net/po.html or get individual items? If a kit, which one is not overkill for my needs.

This kit literally has everything that you need and is a great value. I am very partial to Manzerna products. http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-por...mum-shine.html
