anyone have endurance warranty

I'm about to purchase a 2012 BMW 550i. has just under 51k miles. endurance has quoted me at $5900 for a 5 year 100k mile warranty. warranty is the same as new BMW warranty. I'm curious to know any n63 owners with endurance warranty experience. any input is greatly appreciated.

Good luck. They will probably find a way out of any major power train claims. Endurance is not highly rated.

Check Route 66 warranty - they have a long positive history with BMW owners here. Paid over 10k in repairs on mine so far.

is service included in the route 66 warranty? is it comparable to the $5240 I'm now quoted from endurance?

It's warranty (repairs), not service/maintenance (i.e. oil changes, brakes, etc). Route 66 was about $2700 for 5 years past the BMW warranty for my 2013 535i in 2017, with no deductibles. The "maintenance" that I see for Endurance looks pretty minimal for a BMW - yearly oil changes, $200 once for brakes, $150 once for a battery, wiper blades.

after a second look of my policy, I see the maintenance end probably isn't worth. I appreciate your input. route 66 will be getting a call from me. do they cover the valve stem seals known to fail on the n63?

What did you end up getting and why for extended warranty?

I am on the fence between Endurance and PenFed (Route 66).

Ended up going with a warranty the dealer offered. Endurance was appealing because of maintenance, but turns out it wasn't as inclusive as I'd like. I financed with penfed and I'm happy with them.
