I got tired of hearing this question so I just decided to call the BMW European delivery department.
![]() While they had no information about deliveries of the 2011 5 Series, I decided to ask when was the latest time I could order a 2010. The rep stated end of February, with latest pick-ups in April. To me this means that we're getting the F10 sooner rather than later. ![]() |

Bimmerfile says different. I don't know what is correct but check this out.

Yeah, I just read that too.
![]() Unless BMWNA just changed things on Friday, I can't understand why they would do this..... 1) the E60 costs a lot more to build while the F10 is super-inexpensive?? I really hope that's not the case... 2) They are trying to use reverse psychology in order to sell more E60s before the F10 debuts? That would be the preferable rationale. ![]() ![]() ![]() Edit: Yes, its true. I don't know how BMW is going to sell mid-size sedans up against the new E-Class. My source confirmed the article from Bimmerfile in the form of a memo from BMWNA to all dealerships dated 9/30/09. Also, rollout of the F10 begins in June for the 535 & 550, with the 528 available one month later. I believe all Xi models, including the GT, are delayed past this for a bit. Happen to know estimated date/show of the reveal of the F10? I hope standard features have been improved...such as xenon on the 528.
I hate that these near $50k cars do not have xenon standard (not just speaking of BMW). |

Car shown in January and we will begin to see them in March at dealers. The wagon still has not been confirmed for the US. 5 GT to be at dealers around the same time as the F10 is shown in photos. US will get the V8 only until spring- N55 to be released in the refresh of the X5 and the new F10 5er first. -M
