Dealer messed up software upgrade!! :-(
I have a 2013 535xi build date 4/13. It had NBT_d12505i. Nav would reboot so dealer said the had to install new software. They installed NBT_g14024i and now I have no traffic, no advanced Bluetooth, no bmw convenience, no weather, no google, and who knows what else in messed up. What is NBT g14024i

Having a similar issue right now. 2013 535xi. Dealer said software update was needed. Took it in yesterday, got a call late yesterday afternoon from the SA saying that my car's computer crashed after 2 attempts to do the update. Car is now non functional. He said it's stuck in limp mode. They have already contacted the engineers at BMW and hope to have it fixed today. We will see what happens

My car got the same update NBT_g14024i a couple of weeks ago and I have no problems with nav/traffic/bluetooth. It brought some improved features to the Navigation & traffic. I have a 2013 535i built 6/2013.

Just talked to the dealership. Car needs some sort of control module replaced. They say that's why the car won't accept the new programming. The part has to come from Germany. 7-10 days in the shop.

That's great. Too bad, though, that you jumped to a conclusion about the dealer and put that in the title of your post. What we all see is a dealer screw-up that apparently didn't happen.

Well, actually they did. They gave me my car back at the end of the day before the weekend without someone checking to make sure the work was done correctly. :-). It's all good. Now only if Dinan can get the ecu cracked!!
