So after trying different ratios. 1280x474 seems to fit the best. So if you guys want to get this done download:
1-HandBrake - it's free 2- under video tab chance storage size to 1280 x474 3- hit Browse, change name alittle so it's not a Duplicate 4- hit START on top of program. 5- then add video to USB

nice!! how big are the files?? this is the size and aspect ratios i use.. I just have a 256gb stick with a lot of movies for the kids.... I got it from a member on the forum..
using Xilisoft video converter Under Video Stream > Change the following: Video Size > Type in 1920x720 (not available in dropdown) Zoom > Change 'Letter Box' to 'Full' in the dropdown Aspect Ratio > Type in 24:9 (not available in dropdown) |

I wasnt able to type in that ratio for some reason, I really tried. The files are from YouTube - copy URL - website KEEPVID- enter URL & download vid to computer.
What I noticed is only newer HD vids come in full screen, older ones have boarders. Lol this Editing is Efffff'in annoying.

I too had DVDinMotion coded...but have not been able to get video to play off my USB, just DVD.
Is there anything else I need to do to get the videos to play from the USB? |

I'm not sure on what OEM equipment is needed. I just got my f10 a month ago.. I coded then just popped a DVD in the drive to see what happens... have you tried putting a DVD in to see if that plays in park?

It plays DVD videos while I'm driving with no issues, actual DVDs. What I thought you said you were able to do was play videos thru a USB device. That's what I'm not able to figure out. |
