installing M Tech bumper. PLEASE HELP
Hi guys, im new here. I have 2013 528I non Mtech package. Im really interested in putting non OEM Mtech body kit on my car. However, I keep getting a mixed information and I am so confused.
Ok so I heard that for the front bumper, assuming im not buying the Mtech air duct (since it requires some trimming) and just use my current one, that mean the Mtech bumper would "partially" block the brake and oil cooler duct. Would that be ok thou? Anyone has experience on this? My self, I thought it should be ok since it's just "partially" block. What you guys think? Regarding the rear non OEM Mtech bumper, is there any issue that I should aware of? By the way I'm planning to get my kit from perpetualonlineracing. Please help. Thank you so much |

Hi. The OEM M Sport Package can be picked up for pretty cheap now depending upon where you are based?
IMO replicas will often have low costs but are constructed of low quality materials and the line up of panels is always a bit mickey mouse. Have a look around for an M Sport Front Bumper and don't fit it without the relevant air ducts. These are used to tunnel the air to your brakes and without this it is just plain aesthetics. Remember performance is part of the M pack and you should also avoid blocking any area which helps to cool elements of the car, especially when they are brake and oil/engine related. FYI: I am based in London UK. I have just had the rear end changed on my car and have an Mint M Sport Bumper if you are interested. It's going on the bay soon. |

What should I say....my experience wasn't good. It's just ok. See my review thread.
But it could be just my bad luck. Another member here got it from them too and he said his was good fitment. We just don't like the seller himself |

What issue do u have? I dont have issue with the things I asked in my question but I have issue with some gaps. It could be that im got bad luck buying a slightly defected bumper. I can live with it, no big deal
