my new baby arrives tomorrow
Ok, some time tomorrow morning my 535D GT will be delivered and I'm Jittering with excitement.
I think I've paid through the nose for a 62 plate (4 years old) with 28k miles on the clock from a dealership but I'm fine with that. Although somewat terrified for my license and my safety (I'm slightly lead footed). I have a few questions that hopefully you guys can help with.... 1. Are there any service I should expect to have to do soon, belts etc? 2. does it have timing belt or a chain, what's the interval? 3. are there any quick cheap win mods that I should do? 4. how difficult/exspensive is it to get extra keys 5. can Sophistico Grey be touched up easily? |

I have a 2014 535i GT. The ride height of the car is between a 5 sedan and X3 or X5. The thing to remember is that the cabin height of the GT is larger than the 5 series. This lets you raise the seat for an even higher "feel" and still leave headroom for a 6 foot tall person.
The accessories I recommend are iPhone cradle, trash can and a trunk liner. I like the BMW trunk liner design. YMMV.
