Angry 2011 528i - Could this faulty sensor cause crank, no start?

Howdy all. I have a 2011 BMW 528i, and since parking the car a week ago the car cranks (sounds very healthy), but refuses to start. It also claims the parking brake is "reduced", but I'm unsure if this is related. I replaced both headlight enclosures a week ago due to water damage, including some aftermarket control modules (which don't seem to work properly). I drove the car several hundred miles over the next week with no issues or even sketchy noises.

Context / Things I've Tried
  • I replaced (and registered) the battery.
  • I tried starting without the IBS.
  • Tested every fuse, excluding the fuses inside the IVM.
  • Verified my fuel pump is working by depressing the nipple on the fuel rail's Schrader valve.
  • Tried clearing codes through ISTA +

ISTA Codes
  • DME 1BF102 Terminal 15_3, line from CAS, electrical: Short circuit to earth.
  • DME 1B5801 Terminal 15N<03: No voltage
  • EMF D39577 Signal (powertrain 4 wheel torque, 0xDC) invalid, transmitter DME/DDE (Does this suggest the DME thinks my car is AWD?)
  • FRM 800FC6 Internal fault in headlight driver module, right*
  • FRM 800FC6 Internal fault in headlight driver module, left*
  • FRM 800FC2 Initialization fault in headlight driver module, right*
  • FRM 800FC2 Initialization fault in headlight driver module, left*
  • FRM 800F3B Fog lights, right, faulty*
  • DME 1C5104 BSD, message; oil condition sensor: Missing (this was originally a "no signal" error but started reporting as missing at some point)
*predates crank, no-start

Take this for what it's worth, but Torque (android app) via OBD2 reports the following codes, which are absent from ISTA:
  • (Pending) P15F8 - Powertrain
  • (Pending) P2400 - Powertrain: Evaporative Emission System Leak Detect Pump Control Circuit/Open
  • (Pending) P240A - Powertrain
  • (Pending) P2418 - Powertrain: Evaporative Emission System Leak Detect Pump Control Circuit/Open

So my main question is:
Could a faulty oil condition sensor be the cause of my Terminal 15_3 short to ground? Are they at all related?

I already spent a fair bit on a new battery, so I don't want to throw part at it if the actual problem is something else. If not this sensor, what other troubleshooting steps should I try? Has anybody else experienced this issue?

I've spent several days poking around with this and I don't have another car. The nearest dealership is 100m away, so towing alone will cost a fortune. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Could this cause these specific errors? Would unplugging the headlight enclosure allow the car to run again?

A couple of things:

1. Did your car run after you replaced the battery?
2. Did you program the new modules?

Your faults look like (and remember, we are troubleshooting through a post on the forum - so "assumptions" and "guessing" are part of the equation), you didn't plug everything into the red unit mounted to the top of your battery, and your headlight modules aren't programmed to the vehicle....
