All my other Bimmers had that option, so I'm pretty sure the F10 is no exception.
If I remember correctly you have to follow a specific procedure with the remote. It is a must have, if the car gets transported, like on a ferryboat. Just check the manual! And then tell us all how to do it!

Page 42 on the manual:
Avoiding unintentional alarms The tilt alarm sensor and interior motion sensor can be switched off together, such as in the following situations: - In duplex garages. - During transport on car-carrying trains, at sea or on a trailer. - When animals are to remain in the vehicle. As stated above, a double click on lock button on the remote will do it. I hope this helps. |
