Let's change it up! (Pic Post)
Seems like most of the threads lately are just about our little beefs with the F10. I know I'm guilty of it. But it got me to thinking on my drive from Philly to DC last night... this 535 is absolutely the best highway car I've ever driven. And it would probably be the best around town car if I ditched the run flats (sorry, had to throw a jab in there ).
So I figure I'll change it up. Last Thursday we had some beautiful weather here in the Capital Area so I knocked off work at noon to wash the new car. After some random friends dropped by for beers and BS I had lost the good sunlight for photos, but I tried to make the best of it. I figured I'd share a couple quick shots of my favorite Germans... One is business and one is pleasure. Not sure which one is which Go ahead and post of some of your own shots. Let's have some fun |

I had a 100 mile drive over the weekend. Couple things I noticed.
1. The night vision is amazing in this car. The yellow front turn signals are so bright they illuminate signs. 2. The faster you go the more buttoned down the car feels. At 100 it's just getting started. Like the OP says, best highway car ever. 3. The taillights are very distinctive at night. I tailed another 535i on the way home at midnight and I was in love with the look of the lights. 4. Exiting off ramps, push the sport button, sign says 25, doing 60, no problem, flat, predictable. For those who bitch about this car being soft, not sure what you're talking about. Sport,DDC and ARS are a must on this car. Can't speak for active steering, but those that have it love it. Picture from 2011 Bimmerfest West Coast. You're welcome. Nice Wheels...
