anyway back on topic, i think the 20" OEM M5 wheels will be a great choice. they are somewhat light for 20s. around 25lbs.

Just mounted OEM 343M M5 wheels on my 535i with Hankook 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 tires and it looks good. Nice and flush but I need a drop in a big hurry! ACS springs should arrive this week so I'll post pics once the springs are installed.

The M6 20" 343M are 20x9.5 ET31 and 20x10.5 ET19.
So the front will stick out 9mm more and the rear 21mm more than the M5 343M.

Well, some might be able to "make it" fit, but normally I'd say the rear sticks out too much.

Here is my car with OEM M5 343's. Fronts are 255/35/20 and rears are 285/30/20 PSS. The buyer whom I bought it from threw in HR 3mm spacers for the front. It sits flushed on the rear, and I think 5mm would make the front even more flushed. |

OEM M5 Front 9Jx20 ET34 with 265/35/20 tires Rear 10Jx20 ET34 with 295/30/20 tires Just a heads up, i just called BMW of Morristown and brand new m5 343M 20" rims cost $3,968.78. This includings free shipping and there is no tax if shipped out of state. Note that these do not include sensors which cost $325 at getbmwparts.com also with free shipping. The OEM tires (Mich PSS Max per summer) seem to go for $1,554.00 + $53.65 shipping. Pretty sure that quote was from tirerack.com. So that means that these wheels brand new would cost $5,901.43 |

I have the OEM M5 wheels and tires installed on my 2013 550i. Needed a 3mm spacer in the front to provide a little more clearance with the front brakes. My car is an Msport and not lowered. I rub occasionally when I hit a slight dip on the freeway. Thinking of selling the setup as I'm considering a different wheel.

Top agent was thinking about installing M5 wheels/tires on my 550I, was wondering how bad the rubbing is when you hit dips? Does it bottom out or where do you think it is rubbing. has it caused any damage to your car?
Thanks |

Finally putting it to rest
Hi Everyone,
Thanks to forum member utmiken for his M5 rims, we should be able to answer the question of whether 20" M5 rims and stock Michelin PSS 265/35 and 295/30 will be plug-and-play on a 528. View post on imgur.com My car's info:

Tried to fit the M5 20" 343Ms to my '14 550xi today ... disappointed to say that you definitely need spacers on the fronts to clear the calipers. Ordered them today ... we'll see how it goes once I get these from Burger Tuning.
Smallest Hub-Centric spacers I could find were 10mm ... so we'll see. Hopefully no rubbing with the Adaptive Suspension |

utmiken found Macht-Schnell 3mm spacers at Eruopean Auto Source. They also have other spacers. Supposedly the Macht-Schnell are very high quality.
