Add to this... Stop the engine, open Drivers door - Radio muted Lock the car - Radio powered off (along with iDrive) Either way, your radio will power off - so there is no concern about battery loss or anything else.

BMW Apps is Option Code 6NR; so if you have professional SatNav (Option Code 609) already, a good idea would be to try and VO Code 6NR, and then code the HU_NBT module and se if it works...

I still have not found the codes for Deactivate Headlight Washers. Would you like to share as to why you wish to disable these? Also, I am assuming that you have Professional Media SatNav (Option 609) in order to enable enhanced Bluetooth.

Option Code 544 can be coded and we can code the individual ECU modules as well. Just be aware that coding entire ECU modules is slightly risky. Let me know tomorrow, if you wish me to code this and we can do it. Just remember that coding ECU modules can sometimes throw up errors. There is always an element of risk in coding; even with the simple things like changing ASS behaviour; as long as you are aware of these risks, it is fine. We can code option 544 as well as your other changes. Are you aware of the actual coding for deactivating headlight washers? Also, why do you want to disable this feature?

Hello chaps,
I'd like to have a go at coding my car - a 2010 F10 530d. What hardware do I need, just an E-SYS cable for circa £18 on Ebay? What else do I need? I've previous coding experience with E39 and E85's using NCS Expert. Is it similar? Also, I'd quite like Speed Limit Display. How do I know whether my car is fitted with a KAFAS module? I do not have lane departure warning fitted but I do have high beam assist. Thanks! Last edited by Fox530; 05-27-2014 at 02:34 PM.. |

I am a newbie here and have recently bought a 530d SE. Am interested in retrofitting the 6nr option in my 5 series manufactured in August 2010. It has the USB aux input via the y cable. I cannot connect my iphone via the white apple cable as it says device not supported. With y cable it can play the songs in iPhone but no album art. Also don't have BMW apps even thought I have BMW connected subscription. Am interested to know how much the overall cost would work out to.
I have seen a lot of you doing excellent work. Would be extremely happy to know. |

E-sys cable (essentially a ethernet to OBD II port cable) E-Sys software with appropriate PSZ data files E-sys token If you understand the basic concept of coding, then it is quite simple. If it is a 2010 model and you have high beam assist, you are likely to have the KAFAS camera. I think BMW shifted to the lite KAFAS version later on in 2012/2013. However, Speed Limit Info display requires a FSC code (you will need to purchase this from someone specific to your VIN number).

Been following this thread while waiting for my car.
I now have all I need but waiting for a token to do the real coding. In the meantime I coded enhanced bluetooth on my car so I have 2 phones connected, messages read out, audio streaming and album art. I have business NAV with no extras chosen. I now need to code voice control which I think I know what to do but I also want to code fog lights to come on as part of welcome lights gspannu, you said you have done these to yours, what is the process? |
