Picture request: 20 inch rims w/ stock M-Sport suspension
Like the title says, I'm looking for some photos of F10's with 20 rims that are still riding on their stock M Sport suspension.
If possible, please also include your rim size & offsets along with tire specs. |

Sold them to a forum member. Haven't seen them for sale anywhere and they're ridiculously overpriced from BMW.

Why would the wheel gap be such a concern if you plan to upgrade to 20"? You will always have the wheel gap regardless the wheel size you have. For sure 20" will slightly reduce the gap better than 19". At the end, you can always drop it to eliminate the gap regardless the wheel size. And if you don't plan to do a drop, even with 22", you will see the wheel gap.
I would think choosing the 20" wheel style and appropriate offset that you really like is more time consuming just in case you decide to drop it and would not rub. |

704 suspension with 343 wheels. It's really not bad, and I was in between lowering as well. It's just not worth having to deal with uneven tire wear on 20's.
On a side note, got pics of the hamann lip on stock height? I'm considering that one next. |

ACS springs even though they do run about 450ish + install, they are totally worth it. 3 days after installing them my wife and i drove from San jose to SF (100 miles r/t) up and down 101 and she didn't notice a degradation in ride quality at all. Also with a 1" drop you don't have to worry about rubbing and also you're compressing the stock shocks SO MUCH that you'd cause really premature wear. maybe you lessen their life by 15-20% (this is an assumption on my part) however its totally worth the upgrade. and the higher price you pay for the ACS springs is worth every penny. i had h&r springs with bilstein shocks on my e39, and as much as i loved the way it handled on that setup, it was pretty damn stiff! again just something to consider if you DO end up lowering. |
