JB4 USB Cable route to Glovebox - 2011 535i
Hi everyone,
Installed the JB4 this weekend, but didn't route the USB cable to the interior yet. The only reference I have seen for routing instructions was for another vehicle. Anyone have any routing ideas for the best place to get the USB through the firewall on the passenger side? There are a ton of posts on the JB4 install, but nothing I have found so far on specifically getting the USB cable in to the cabin. Wanted to see if it goes through the back of the ECU box as in other models or if there is an easier way? Thanks! |

I just purchased a JB4 but instead of the USB cable, I got the BlueTooth module instead. I will be installing both this weekend and hope I don't need the USB cable at all.

I think all you need the USB for is to configure the steering wheel controls for f10. I read somewhere that you need to change a specific setting to get that to work after plugging in the obd II

Any F10 people route their USB through the firewall? If so, through which area and how did you access it?
