Coding EDC rear shock absorber after been replaced
Hi,
I just had the rear left edc shock absorber replaced due to leak. I have genuine one and now need to code it. I do have E-sys for coding but lack of experience is stoping me from doing it. I googled but had no lack with a step by step guide. As long as it remain not coded I have few errors and driving isn’t pleasant - to stiff. Is there someone who could help / guide it through ? I did try to follow the guidance from the below link but not sure which Ecu require coding Last edited by Darob; 09-13-2020 at 04:25 AM.. |

The ECU is ICMQL, which is the chassis control module.

HI,
Could not find this module but I have got instead two : 1 - ICM 2 - ICM_V I did try to inject the cafd but no new module was found ... I just check it via BimmerCode and appears that you are right. It looks like my E-says does not seeing it. Found it so this is closed now Last edited by Darob; 09-15-2020 at 10:52 PM.. |

You'll need "full" ESys and not ESys Lite.

I have full eSys, and am in Hertfordshire if that's any use?

Hi guys, bit off topic I’ve recently joined and looking to get some coding done. I’ve looked at the capabilities but as I’m still getting used to all the functions not comfortable doing this my self. Any help/steer would be much appreciated - I’m looking at the in motion DVD/Usb feature in particular.
I have 530d 2010 with rear entertainment (screens) and still finding out vis and bobs. To be honest a lot of the coding features seem already installed on the spec part from the above. My other query is - can the day Nav in this model display YouTube videos/media through usb (not downloaded but connected to a device) |
