CIC replacement
Currently my screen in my 2012 BMW 528I would just go orange and I would have no audio for anything inside the car. Ir would go away after about 10-15 minutes, but it got to the point that the screen would always be orange. So after doing research and stuff I came to the conclusion that the CIC was bad so I pulled a used CIC unit from another 2012 BMW 528i and it fixed the screen problem. But I still have no audio for anything still. I can’t really find anything on how to “recode” it or any foreign shop to “recode” the CIC unit to my car. I’m pretty lost if anyone has dealt with this issue or knows to recode it would love to hear it.

Did you only replace the screen or did you do the brain too?

I would recheck your connections to see if maybe the connection didn’t fully seat. Is it possible that you got a non-functioning unit?
