6WB Cluster – How to Keep Display White at Night? (2016 535i xDrive M Sport)
Hey everyone,
I’ve got a 2016 BMW 535i xDrive M Sport (F10) with the 6WB digital cluster installed from the factory. I’ve been trying to figure out how to keep the cluster color white at night instead of it switching to red/orange once the headlights turn on. I followed a few guides and threads from others who said they got it working, but no matter what I try, mine still switches to red at night. I went through BimmerCode and tried tweaking some settings under Kombi, but either I’m missing something or it’s just not taking. Anyone successfully figured this out? Is it a specific coding option I’m overlooking, or do I need to disable ambient light response somewhere? Appreciate any help! |

You probably already coded:
KOMBI -> 3007 KI_Dimmung, 24 -> DIM_NACHT_EIN ->Werte=0A -> FF Unfortunately it is not working anymore after 2013 models. I don't know the actual month, but I would assume not at least after LCI models (manufactured after 9/2013). There is no trick to change this. The only options are a 6WA instrument cluster, an aftermarket instrument cluster, or replacing just the white LEDs with the original ones. |
