Washed both dailies and also ordered new front tires for F10. The one's I installed where used and for testing purposes. Test was a success so new tires next week.

Headlight module went out, and the wiring is pretty corroded, so the good one from the other side wouldn't even work in it. Found a well priced used one eBay, maybe an hour of work to get it swapped in. Everything works as it should now!

How difficult is it to add lane change warning? After completing the retrofit, would you do it all over again?

Did it on mine too,not bad retrofit at all. Biggest job is to run flexray wires to zgm.

Not bad at all. Two wires in the door for mirror light. Two flexray wires from master module to zgm, one ground and one power so it’s pretty easy.

I replaced ZGM because mine was 4SK and all ports were used. I recommend upgrading to 8SK even if you have an open port in your 4SK. That way it will be in its correct PIN and will be easy to diagnose and can support more retrofits in the future. It’s only $30 for the part. Use tool32 to change VIN then you connect to your car with ESYS to finish coding.

Based on my personal experience, this feature is not needed because I travel on single lane road a lot. It is helpful if you are in multiple lane road a lot. I did this retrofit just because I had to take apart the door harness to add wires for surround view camera and soft close so I figured why not two more wires

Thanks for your guys’ two cents. I definitely want to do this. I really appreciate how BMW designed the feature to not appear on the surface area of the mirror.
