Weather kind of dull now since the snow ended Sunday.

Still cold but the high today should rise above freezing.

Out earlier this AM and roads in the area are showing more traffic compared to yesterday at the same time.

Our overnight low tonight is forecasted to be +2 F. At midnight, it was already down to might as well be -4 F...and still falling!

Watching the late TV news from NYC, they have shut down all ferry service tomorrow because of ice on the rivers. Yes, NYC is a salt water port.....

I had to go out after five days indoors, the ice is pretty but I'm ready for it to melt.

It sucks. with wind chill, it's been like almost -10°F since the weekend.
my four year old battery will not start under 15°F. So for the past week, I have been leaving my car running while getting gas or coffee. I haven't gone any where to get groceries yet. At work I bullied my way into a heated garage spot (it gets up to 65°F in there!) At home, my garage stays around 32°F.

Grandkids haven't been in school since last Thursday.

Sun snuck out from the clouds for a short moment this morning, remaining cloudy this afternoon and tomorrow. Highs in.the mid teens with negative 6 for lows

Friday is suppose to be a bit on the partly sunny side but daytime temps still in the low teens and negative 6 again for a low.

Weekend doesn't look any better.

Seven day forecast says Monday and Tuesday temps in the low to mid 20's.

So damn tired of this weather 🤬

I don't know how you all can live in that cold and snow. I grew up in NY and lived in Boston for eight years. I couldn't stand that winter weather. Moved to FL 30yrs ago, and the cold spell we're having right now is terrible. It's gonna be 37 deg Sunday Morning. No way I'm leaving the house lol.

Next 3 days the highs are in the 80s. Low 60s for my walk tonight; makes for a nice, cool, (almost) nightly walk. I keep the walk brisk to make it worth my while.

Going to be heckin cold tonight at -16F (-27C). At least the wind is calm. The 2 series is going to be angry tomorrow morning.

On the bright side, roads are mostly clear down to the asphalt now. Only residential streets are snow covered and rutted. Would be nice if they could run a plow down them at least once this month...

All things considered today's weather ain't bad.

Main roads are clear and dry and even those roads not clear it was cold enough that there was no melt water to speak of.

Rain started about 13.00 thankfully just after changing my cars interior bulbs to LED and it's been teeming down ever since but stopping at around 20.00, and tomorrow should be rain free with a high of 11C.

If i googled correctly.. 11C = 52 F... I wish it was that warm... I want to install mud flaps and a tonneau cover on my new truck... But to cold.. I have a garage for the wife's BMW and my truck.. but its not heated.. Using tools in the teens is painful.. I have them already.. Just waiting for a nice weekend.. Can u say March

I recall you were down as being in Western MA and watching CNN's weather map you have it very cold there in that NE sector even could be as bad as -20F and the front seems to be standing still not moving! Wish you luck with the mudflaps but I'd wait for higher temps.. the mud flaps could be too stiff not being flexible enough to fit them.

Looks like we will dodge the bullet with this storm in my neck of the woods. It's still going to be cold. 0 F overnight tonight. It was 3 F when I left this morning with a feels like of -3 F. How the hell did we live before heated seats and steering wheels? I remember those hard plastic steering wheels with the ridge like cut outs for your fingers. Damn, those got cold.

We are also dodging the bullet here in upstate NY, with this weekend's storm passing us by out to sea. Last night's low was "only" -1 F, which seems warm considering that it has been -4 to -6 F every day this week so far. Tonight's low is forecast to be -6 F, with overnight lows after that forecasted to be a seemingly balmy low single digits F through next week.

Meanwhile, there is a Winter Storm Warning up for tonight through Sunday morning down yonder in SC at our tree farm, with a crippling 6-9 inches of snow forecast in a place where snow is so uncommon that the big-box stores don't even keep snowblowers in stock. Plus, there's an Extreme Cold Warning down there for the weekend with all kinds of frostbite reminders because the lows are forecast to be in the mid-teens F.....
